Copy Cat Style

I know this is a weird question but if you really love someone's hair style and want to wear it, but you don't want them to think you're copy cating them, what would you do? What if she was your roomate or lives with you and you're not too close to her either? And she doesn't like it when people copy her style?

Hmm...that's tricky. You could always try to talk to her about it & tell her that you could understand that she doesn't want people to copy her style, but you just absolutely love her hair/clothes/etc. and have been thinking about getting, not a duplicate style, but something similar. You could ask whether that would bother her. I think some people forget that a friend copying their style is one of the highest forms of flattery (like the expression! ) and maybe if you tried to talk it out with her she would understand??
